Overview

ClipTrend operates on a credit-based system. This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund for purchased credits or subscriptions.

Eligibility for Refunds

Technical Failures (Full Refund)

You are eligible for a full refund of credits consumed in the following circumstances:

  • Generation Failure: The AI generation process failed to produce any output due to a technical error on our end.
  • Credits Not Delivered: You completed a purchase but credits were not added to your account.
  • Duplicate Charges: You were charged more than once for the same purchase.
  • Service Outage: A platform-wide outage prevented you from using credits you attempted to spend during the affected period.

Non-Refundable

The following are not eligible for refunds:

  • Used Credits: Credits that have been successfully consumed to generate video output, regardless of whether you are satisfied with the result.
  • Unused Credits: Purchased credits that remain in your account are not refundable. Credit pack credits are valid for 2 years from the purchase date; monthly subscription credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Yearly subscription credits are valid for 12 months from purchase.
  • Dissatisfaction with Output Quality: AI-generated results vary and are not guaranteed to meet specific expectations. Variations in output quality do not constitute grounds for a refund.
  • Account Termination for Policy Violations: If your account is terminated due to violations of our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy, any remaining credits are forfeited.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Email Us: Send your refund request to support@cliptrend.ai with the subject line "Refund Request".
  2. Include Details: Provide your account email, the date of purchase, the amount, and a description of the issue.
  3. Processing Time: Refund requests are reviewed and processed within 3 business days of receipt.
  4. Refund Method: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase.

Subscriptions

If you have an active subscription through Stripe:

  • You can manage, pause, or cancel your subscription at any time through the Stripe billing portal.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to subscription benefits until that date.
  • We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.

Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. Filing a chargeback without first attempting to resolve the issue with us may result in suspension of your account pending investigation.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately. Your continued use of ClipTrend after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
