Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to ClipTrend, an AI video effects platform operated by Seantin Labs. By accessing or using our service at cliptrend.ai, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any of these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

ClipTrend allows users to upload photos or enter text prompts and generate short AI-powered videos using trending visual effects. The platform provides curated video effect templates inspired by popular styles on TikTok and YouTube.

User Accounts and Registration

  1. Account Creation: To generate videos and access paid features, you need to create an account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.

  2. Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

  3. User Responsibilities: You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.

User Content

  1. Uploaded Content: You retain ownership of photos and images you upload to ClipTrend. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process it through our AI video generation pipeline.

  2. Generated Videos: Videos generated by our AI service are provided for your personal and commercial use, subject to applicable third-party AI model terms.

  3. Content Storage: Uploaded photos are processed by our AI systems and stored temporarily for video generation. Generated videos are stored in the cloud and accessible through your account.

  4. Prohibited Content: You agree not to upload content that is illegal, infringing, harmful, or violates the rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms.

Credits and Payments

  1. Credit System: ClipTrend operates on a credit-based system. Video generation consumes credits based on the effect and duration selected.

  2. Purchases: Credits are purchased through our payment processor, Stripe. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by law.

  3. Pricing Changes: Prices are subject to change with notice to users. Existing purchased credits remain valid regardless of price changes.

Acceptable Use Policy

ClipTrend is designed for creative, lawful, and ethical use. You are solely responsible for all content you upload and all content generated through your account. The following uses are strictly prohibited:

Prohibited Content

  • NSFW and Sexually Explicit Content: You may not use ClipTrend to generate, upload, or distribute any content that is sexually explicit, pornographic, nude, or sexually suggestive in nature.
  • Non-Consensual Deepfakes: You may not use ClipTrend to create deepfakes, face swaps, or any AI-manipulated media depicting real individuals without their explicit, documented consent.
  • Unauthorized Use of Real Persons: You may not generate content featuring identifiable real people (celebrities, public figures, or private individuals) unless you have obtained proper authorization from the person depicted.
  • Harmful or Abusive Content: You may not generate content that promotes violence, harassment, hate speech, discrimination, self-harm, or terrorism.
  • Illegal Content: You may not generate content that violates any applicable local, national, or international law, including content involving minors, controlled substances, or fraud.
  • Deceptive Content: You may not generate content intended to mislead or deceive others, including fake news, impersonation, or synthetic media presented as authentic.

Enforcement and Consequences

Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in any or all of the following actions, at our sole discretion and without prior notice:

  1. Immediate content removal of any violating generated videos or uploaded materials
  2. Temporary suspension of your account and access to all ClipTrend services
  3. Permanent termination of your account with forfeiture of any remaining credits
  4. Reporting to law enforcement if the content involves illegal activity

User Responsibility

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are fully responsible for all content generated using your account, regardless of the prompts or inputs used
  • You will not hold ClipTrend or Seantin Labs liable for any content generated through the platform
  • You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations regarding AI-generated content in your jurisdiction
  • You will obtain any necessary rights, permissions, or consents before uploading photos of identifiable individuals

Other Prohibited Activities

You additionally agree not to engage in any of the following while using ClipTrend:

  • Uploading content that infringes on intellectual property rights of others
  • Attempting to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models or proprietary systems
  • Interfering with or disrupting the security or performance of the service
  • Using the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Automating access to the service without our prior written consent

Third-Party Services

ClipTrend integrates with the following third-party services to deliver our platform:

  • Kie.ai: AI video generation processing
  • Cloudflare: Website hosting and content delivery
  • Supabase: Database and authentication services
  • Stripe: Payment processing
  • fal.ai: Supplementary AI video generation (Kling O3, Kling O1 edit)
  • Replicate: Face-swap pipeline (user-uploaded face images are sent to Replicate for processing)
  • Wavespeed: Video effects templates
  • Evolink: Video generation fallback

Your use of ClipTrend is also subject to the terms and policies of these third-party providers where applicable.

Intellectual Property

The ClipTrend platform, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is the property of Seantin Labs. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the platform without our prior written consent.

Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the service at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties or representations about the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the service. AI-generated videos may not always match your expectations, and results may vary.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Seantin Labs shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data, credits, or generated content.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Seantin Labs, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service will be resolved through binding arbitration.

Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the service after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.
